Something Simple are an 8-piece musical explosion born and bred in London but boasting an impressive mix of musical blood from all over the world.
Phat rhythms, big bass and old school horns combine to produce Something Simple's unmistakable sound. The band's original hybridised-funk-brew is based firmly in styles of dance music from the 60s to present day funk, reggae, hip-hop and drum&bass. Live gigs are jumping with the raw energy pumped out by Something Simple's serious groove.
The unique sound and charisma of Something Simple’s live shows have taken them to many loved and respected London venues such as 93 Feet East, The Good Ship, Cargo, Camden's Jazz Café and Koko's.
